In urma asprelor critici de presa cu care a fost primita cartea "Comrades: A World History of Communism" , autorul Robert Service, incearca sa raspunda la intrebarea: "Why has the left's poisoned love affair with it endured ? "

Un raspuns ar fi ca represiile si persecutiile in acele tari, erau lucruri "normale" si inaintea instaurarii comunismului ...
